​TRAINING PROGRAMS
PUPPY CLASS - $225
We take a rather unique approach to puppy training. We're not as concerned with getting a puppy "do" something, but we are ALL about rewarding a puppy's creativity and ingenuity to help create and build a love and passion for the game (training)! As a handler, once you establish a love for the 'game', you can essentially teach your dog ANYTHING! This class is for puppies under 4 months of age and is designed to give you tons of information on diet, safety, grooming, as well as training. ​Our goal is to set you and your puppy up for success in any venture moving forward! This is a 4 session course, and the first session is HUMAN ONLY, as we need to establish a good baseline of understanding before we add the chaos!

BEGINNER OBEDIENCE - $325
This course is for anyone just starting out in obedience training. We cover the basics, as well as health and nutrition, diet and exercise, and understanding dog behavior. You and your dog will learn the basic behaviors of obedience to get you started out right! The first class is human only, so bring a notebook!

INTERMEDIATE OBEDIENCE - $325
We take the basics and build on them. We begin going on field trips and pack walks to help solidify our training. Your dog will learn more advanced cues, like come and place. Prerequisite: you must have taken and passed our beginner course.

ADVANCED OBEDIENCE - $325
Our advanced class will help you polish up and build on everything learned in our previous classes. We start working dogs on a long line and begin the stages of helping you achieve off-leash goals! We also would start teaching the e-collar at this point, for anyone that may be interested in more freedom for their dog.

2-WEEK BASIC - $1350
This is a very basic 10-day training program. It is designed to help teach a calm state-of-mind to help you easily manage your dog. Your dog will learn to walk nicely on leash, as well as sit and stay (and in most cases, down). This program is for dogs with no behavioral issues that need addressing. (10% discount for day train!)

3-WEEK ON LEASH - $1850
This is an owner-involved board-and-train program. Your dog stays in our facility Monday through Friday, and is immersed in structured training daily, structured play, as well as field trips, and you will receive updates throughout their stay. On Fridays, you will have a go-home lesson with weekend homework for you and your dog to practice. Your dog will learn how to be calm in any situation, walk nicely on leash, as well as sit, down, stay, place, and come (on leash). We also address any minor behavioral issues you may be experiencing such as jumping, counter surfing, bolting, etc.

DAY TRAINING CAMP - $1625
Can't do without your dog? No problem! Our Day Train program delivers the same service as our regular 3-week program but with no overnights. This is a great way to save a couple hundred bucks! Drop off your dog every morning for training and pick them up on your way home from work. You will have a lesson at the end of the training week with a trainer and homework for the weekend. ​
5-WEEK OFF-LEASH - $3650
We deliver the same service as our 3-week program, however, everything is taught off leash. If your dream is complete freedom for your dog, this is the program for you! We get you and your dog off on the right foot/paw to set you up for success!

* FREEDOM DOG - $195
This is an add-on package to any of our training programs. We can add in the use of an e-collar to give you and your dog more freedom. Our e-collars give you a more hands free approach to training and handling, but allows you to still communicate with your dog from up to a half mile away. Its also a great way to start the process of off-leash training!

PRIVATE LESSONS - $115/Session
We are happy to offer Private Lessons with you and your dog at our facility. This is an ala carte program, allowing you to take as many or as few sessions as you need to help you achieve your goals with your dog. Please call to schedule.
* All of our training programs are on a first come-first serve basis with limited spots each month, and require a 50% Non-Refundable Deposit to book a spot on our calendar

​DAYCARE
At Blue Star K9 we are proud to offer a SAFE (Structured And Fulfilling Environment) Daycare option for your dog. Our staff is highly trained in safety precautions and protocols to ensure your dog's visit is fulfilling, enjoyable and SAFE! We have a unique system that allows us to care for any dog, with any issues. We do this by providing extra attention and care to dogs who would benefit from additional support. All breeds and behaviors are welcome! We want you to feel comfortable knowing that your dog is in good hands. All dogs new to our daycare will be what we call a "shadow" dog until we know they can handle being in a daycare setting safely. Depending on your dog's size, needs and energy level, they will be placed in an appropriate social group to make sure they enjoy their time with us.
* please note that all new dogs entering Daycare must undergo a one-time assessment fee of $50

* please note that doors are locked by 5:30pm. If you do not pick up your dog before that time, you will be charged an overnight boarding fee of $50.

All dogs must be current on all vaccines and must have a negative fecal exam, along with proof of all required vaccines/tests before we can allow them into our facility!
